FSSoundScape Files

Using the brilliantly simple to use program from Lago called FS SoundScape you can add any sound you like to any location within the FlightSim world. It really is simple and effective . It also comes with a collection of sounds that can add that all important atmosphere to a small airfield.

I started off doing each airfield entirely with the sounds that came packaged with the program.
Then went back to the start and added any additional sounds  that seemed appropriate for the location.
So if you don't want to spend the time downloading the additional sounds you will still have plenty of Atmosphere.

Just unzip the .cfg files into the 
FS2002\LAGO\FSSoundScape\SoundColls folder.
See the included additional sounds.txt file for a list of any sound files you will need and where to find them on the web.These should be placed in the FS2002\LAGO\FSSoundScape\Sounds folder.
If you have used any of my previous FSSS files you may already have some or all of these but I will include a full list of additional sounds with each upload. 

The first batch of 25 UK airfields are in this file:- Activated Airports FSSS.zip 

This is a list of the additional sounds you need to download for the Activated Airports FSSS.zip file from www.a1freesoundeffects.com
They can be found in the free sounds section under various headings
Please note that the wav files are copyright a1freesoundeffects.com and can only be used for Non-commercial purposes and may not be distributed without permission.
I have e-mailed them to get permission to upload the files here in a single zip but have yet to hear back.
I will be using more sounds from this site in future
